Sberbank transfers will become paid: a new commission for payments over 50,000 rubles within the bank

Any financial institution works to make a profit. One of the income items of commercial banks is commission for various operations (payments, transfers, money withdrawals). The commission at Sberbank for transferring money will depend on several factors:
  • The transfer is made within Sberbank or to an account opened in another bank.
  • Territory of translation (one region or different)

List of Sberbank tariffs

The size of the commission at Sberbank when paying a receipt depends on the regional affiliation and the counterparty who will become the recipient of the transfer.
At the same time, the institution documents tariffs and indicates prices for transactions in the “Money transfers” section by area of presence. You can open the tab using this link. Let's take a closer look at the tariffs of this bank:

  1. For all Sberbank clients, transfers to mobile operator accounts are free. You can transfer money directly without any interest or commissions, regardless of the recipient - relatives or friends. You can complete a transaction through your personal account of a remote service, a self-service terminal or a mobile banking program.
  2. A fee may apply for housing and communal services if you pay through the cash register. There are typically no additional fees for remote transactions. The amount of commission depends on the agreement between the bank and the management organization, as well as public utility companies providing services to the population.
  3. Payments for telecommunications services are charged in the same amount as when paying an apartment bill. The operator will charge 2-3% for the work (but not less than 20 rubles) when paying a fine from the traffic police. When using a self-service terminal, services will cost 1-2% less.
  4. Tax deductions at Sberbank are free. However, these payments should not be confused with transfers to the budget and extra-budgetary funds.

Payment for mobile communications

Here, first of all, you need to clarify whether there is an agreement between Sberbank and the operator on accepting payments.

If there is such an agreement, then when replenishing your account, you will not have to pay a commission. If there is no such agreement, then you will additionally have to pay 1 percent of the amount (but not more than 500 rubles) when paying through a terminal or Sberbank online, or from 1 to 3 percent (but not more than 2,000 rubles) when paying with the help of a bank employee.

As a rule, Sberbank has such an agreement with major telecom operators.

How to pay a debt on a receipt

Each Sberbank client can use any of the proposed methods of paying bills:

  • Through the operator
. This is the simplest method that people who are far from computers and portable devices prefer to use. To pay the receipt, you need to visit the branch, take a coupon and go to the employee’s window in order of queue. You give the specialist the form and make payment in cash or by bank card. In return, the operator issues a check and change if payment was made in cash. The disadvantage of this method is the waste of time visiting the department and waiting in line.
  • Via an ATM (terminal)
. You can carry out a transaction in this way only through a bank card. The plastic must be inserted into the ATM, go to the bill payment department, open the “Utility Payments” tab, select the counterparty and read the barcode on the receipt through a special scanner.
  • In the personal account of the Sberbank Online service
. To download the site, you need a portable device or computer with Internet access. The owner of the account needs to log in to the system, go to the “Payments and Transfers” section, indicate the type of transaction, find the management company and verify the details. The next step is to select the card from which the money will be debited and enter the code received on the phone to confirm consent.
  • Using an application for mobile devices
. The functions of this small program are similar to the Sberbank Online service, so all actions for paying bills are similar.

Every citizen can close any account through an operator, but all other methods are available only to holders of Sberbank plastic cards. At the same time, non-cash payment of a receipt is cheaper than carrying out the transaction during a personal visit to the branch. The difference can reach 1-2% of the payment amount. . In order to pay for utilities and cellular operator services on the due date, you can use the auto payment service. You can connect this option through an application or online service absolutely free. If you want to save time, the remote method of paying for receipts is more profitable, since in this case the Sberbank commission is lower or absent altogether. You will be notified about current service rates in a particular region at the nearest bank office - hotline operators often do not have such information and will connect you to the same branch.

What percentage does Sberbank take for other payments?

The list of services of this company also includes other payment options, for example, you can use it to pay for television, telephone, make transfers to legal entities, etc. And for all these transactions Sberbank charges a transfer fee.

If the operation is carried out through the online banking system, then all payments are charged the same - 1% of the amount, maximum 500 rubles. If you make them through the cash register, the commissions will be different.

What percentage does Sberbank charge for transferring money:

  • legal entities - 2-3% of the amount;
  • for utilities, mobile operators, Internet providers - 1-3% of the amount.

In Sber you can also pay for television, telephone, make transfers to legal entities.
Is there a commission for the operation you need, how much exactly does the organization charge for its financial services - get the exact information at the company’s branch.

Cashing out from credit cards

If desired, a Sberbank client can withdraw funds without additional payment, with the exception of credit products of a financial institution. When planning to withdraw a large amount of funds, it is advisable to take into account not only the possible commission charged for such an operation, but also existing restrictions.

For most loan products, the standard rate of this bank applies - 3% for withdrawal, but not less than 200 rubles. Credit products provide the following limits on cash withdrawals/deposits:

  • for all products of standard/classic status, as well as Momentum – 50 thousand per day, 150 thousand per month;
  • for gold products - 100 thousand rubles/day, 300 thousand/month;
  • if the card was issued by a subsidiary branch, then its holder will not be able to withdraw more than 7,500 rubles per transaction, no more than 50 thousand per day, regardless of status.

It is important to consider that ATMs have a technical limitation regarding the number of banknotes dispensed.

Sberbank terminals cannot issue more than 40 banknotes in one transaction, but their number is not limited. There are also certain limits on depositing funds - no more than 10 million at a time, regardless of the type of product.

Both credit and debit cards have cash withdrawal limits

Cash withdrawal in another region

Despite the widespread introduction of card payments, sometimes cash is still needed. For example, it is still used to pay for goods to private individuals, and sometimes stores do not accept plastic for payment. A Sberbank card holder can withdraw cash in any region of the Russian Federation and even in other countries. But in this case there are a number of nuances that must be taken into account.

The easiest way to withdraw cash when traveling around Russia is through Sberbank ATMs. You can find them in almost all cities and even in many small towns. But if necessary, you can use devices from other credit institutions. You can also withdraw cash from a Sberbank card in another region and by contacting the cash desk of a financial institution.

Important. There are no ATMs or Sberbank branches in Crimea. In this region, you will have to use devices and cash desks of banks present on the peninsula (for example, RNKB) to receive cash.

Limits and commissions

There is no fee for withdrawing cash from debit cards at Sberbank ATMs, regardless of the region where the card is issued. You can also get cash from cashiers at any branch of the largest bank in the Russian Federation at no additional cost. The exception is Momentum cards. For them, a commission of 0.75% is charged for issuing cash through an ATM or cash desk of another branch.

When using devices of other banks to receive cash, a fee of 1% (min. 100 rubles) will be charged for the operation, and at third-party cash desks - 1% (min. 150 rubles).

Important. Using the Sbercard Travel, you can withdraw cash from third-party ATMs of Russian financial institutions free of charge with expenses of 75 thousand rubles. for the last month or maintaining a balance in the amount of 150,000 rubles. or more. Abroad, you can receive cash using it without additional fees when spending over 5,000 rubles. for the last month or maintaining a balance in the amount of 20,000 rubles.

The limits depend on the category of the card used. They are shown in the following table.

Plastic categoryDaily limitMonthly limit
moment50,000 rub.100,000 rub.
Classic150,000 rub.RUB 1,500,000
Gold300,000 rub.RUB 3,000,000
Premium500,000 rub.RUB 5,000,000
Social50,000 rub.500,000 rub.
Sbercard50,000 – 500,000 rub. (depends on last month's expenses or minimum balance) 500000 – 5000000 rub. (depends on expenses or balances last month)

The daily limit can be exceeded when contacting Sberbank cash desks. In this case, a fee of 0.5% will be charged on the excess amount.

Credit card holders

You can also withdraw cash from credit cards. However, a commission will always be charged for the operation. When using devices or going to a Sberbank cash desk, it will be 3% (min. 390 rubles), and at third-party ATMs and cash desks – 4% (min. 390 rubles).

For credit cards, only daily cash withdrawal limits are established:

  • for classic credit cards – 150,000 rubles;
  • for gold cards – 300,000 rubles;
  • for premium – 500,000 rub.

There is no grace period for this category of transactions. Interest begins to accrue from the moment the transaction is completed.

What is the fee for transferring cash?

When it is not possible to use non-cash transfer schemes, the choice of available schemes is limited and depends on how another individual plans to receive the amount.

If the recipient does not have a card or account, the commission for transfers at Sberbank can be 1.5-1.75% or more, depending on the transfer method, from 30-50 rubles when sending small amounts. The less money the sender transfers, the higher the percentage. For example, when sending cash in the amount of 500 rubles at a branch, the bank will take a minimum fixed payment, which will be 50 rubles or 10%.

Transferring cash to another person using the card details allows the financial institution to withdraw 1.5% or 50-1000 rubles, regardless of what city the recipient is located in, and when replenishing the account they pay a commission rate of 1.75%. The maximum payment for bank services when visiting a branch is 2 thousand rubles if the money is sent to the account of another bank or issued in banknotes at another financial institution.

Simpler conditions are provided by a special product of the Savings Bank - through the Kolibri transfer. You can transfer money to any person, regardless of their distance from the sender, even if there are no payment cards.

Terms of service Kolibri:

  1. Does not require bank cards.
  2. The minimum commission is 30 rubles, and the maximum is 1 thousand rubles.
  3. The bank's standard remuneration is 1.5% of the amount.
  4. You can send funds through an ATM or go to a Sber branch.

It takes about 10 minutes to send money through Kolibri, but you can transfer no more than half a million in 1 day.

Is it possible to pay taxes for another person at Sberbank

Until recently, the tax code contained a restriction according to which every citizen was obliged to pay his taxes personally. In the Sberbank online service, the system could only miss a payment from a registered user of the account, the owner of the card or account from which the payment was made. When trying to pay tax using another person’s data, the money could simply get lost and not reach the recipient. However, in 2021, changes were made to the law, and it became possible to pay taxes on both your own and others.

Is it possible to avoid commission?

It’s easy to avoid commissions when paying for utilities - just cut out the intermediary represented by Sberbank. Pay for housing maintenance costs directly through your management company’s website: heat and water through the generating company’s website, electricity through the energy sales website, Internet through the provider’s portal, and so on. Yes, you may prefer to overpay the bank a little to avoid virtual running around a bunch of different sites, but there is no other choice. If you don’t want to overpay on principle, then this is not an option.

Dear Vladimir, the percentage is established by the card service agreement. You can clarify the fee for transferring credit funds specifically from the Moscow Bank account, established by a third-party bank agreement, in the Sber support service using the short number 900.

If the receiving bank is part of the Faster Payments System, then you can transfer up to RUB 100,000 per month interest-free (it is possible that payment for furniture can be split into two payments). • How to transfer money online without commission to other SberBank clients

    From your contacts

As in the first case, we start with the “Payments” button. But then, instead of “Between our own”, we select the line “To SberBank Client”. You will see a page with contacts from your phone.

And if you want to transfer money to one of them, then type the name in the search bar. The desired contact will appear after a few letters, then click on it:

Pay attention to the Sber icon. It usually stands with a contact whose phone number is linked to SberBank. If it is not there, you will not be able to transfer money from this window.

There is an icon, feel free to click on the name and find yourself on the next page. Here you need to do the following:

    1. Enter the transfer amount. By the way, in this window the input keyboard appears immediately.
    2. Select your account for debiting money (if you have several).
    3. Click the right arrow in the line with the amount.

By the way, there is even the opportunity to write a message to the recipient. It’s also a nice bonus if you need to add some comment in addition to the transferred money.

    By phone number

First, you do everything the same as it was written at the very beginning, only having reached “Contacts”, from the proposed methods, now select the line with the inscription “Phone”:

And then enter your phone number and press the right arrow:

Further, as already described above with the transfer to your contacts. If suddenly an information window appears as in the picture below, this means either this subscriber is not a client of SberBank, or his account is connected to another phone number, or whatever is written there.

By the way, if you want to continue your actions, do not forget to click “Got it.” In the case where the phone number is not really connected to the SMS banking service, then this is the next way to transfer money to a SberBank client without commission.

    By card or account number

There's not much to talk about here. Everything is done in the same way as in previous cases, with the only difference that instead of a phone number, a card or account number is entered. True, there is a small plus sign when entering a card. You can scan it, if you have it at hand, of course.

That's all about commission-free transfers to SberBank clients in the four cases described. According to statistics, these are the most frequently performed small transactions in Sberbank by individuals.

What is the commission fee for a wire transfer?

Sber clients who have opened accounts or cards have more opportunities. The commission for transfers for Sberbank card holders within one region becomes zero if they use payment instruments for independent transactions.

When sending a sum of money through the office of a financial institution, the commission is 1.5%.

If you choose independent transfer processing tools, the commission depends on the location of the recipient:

    • within one region, when transferring between card accounts, the surcharge for banking services is zero;
    • when sending using details opened in another region, they charge 1.0%.

To independently manage money from a card, use a mobile application or Sberbank Online account. The use of terminals and ATMs owned by Sber is allowed.

How to transfer money without commission between your accounts in SberBank Online

If you are already registered with SberBank Online and can put money on your phone using this application, then transferring between your accounts will be a piece of cake.

Although such operations are performed much less frequently than others, they are nevertheless in demand. As always, open the SberBank Online application and immediately touch the “Payments” button on the first page:

In the next window, click on the inscription “Between our own”:

    4. Click the “Continue” button.

Just don’t choose your account at another bank just yet. In this case, it will not be possible to transfer money without a commission. But we will deal with this a little below on how to avoid interest charges in such cases.

What determines the size of the commission for transfers in Sberbank

In 2021, the country's largest financial institution retains the same rules for calculating commissions for financial transactions, taking into account two main parameters:

    1. Transfer range . The bank divides financial transactions into those performed between clients in one region and when sending a sum of money to another region, region, or country.
    2. Selected design method. By offering clients to independently carry out transactions through the provided remote service, the financial institution establishes more favorable conditions.
    3. Clients belong to different banks. If you plan to send a transaction using the details of another financial institution, you must take into account the mandatory payment of commissions for interbank transactions.
    4. Counterparty status. To pay bills or replenish the account of a legal entity, a bank fee is assigned depending on the agreement concluded between banks or with a specific recipient.

Based on the rules established by the banking organization for individuals, payments will cost the most when sending funds to another region, to the account or card of another bank, as well as when applying for help at a branch.

The choice of option to top up another person's account is influenced by the possibility of a cashless transaction or the need to seek the transfer or receipt of money in cash.
