What does the FXamo resource look like?
By going to the fxamo.com resource, you can immediately find a bright picture with a recommendation to gain “real income from trading”. Something similar is observed on the web resources of most scammers.
You should go to the “Contacts” option to see what communication options the scammer recommends. The office states the following about itself: there are 3 branches - in London, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo. Each office has a telephone number and e-mail. Initially, everything looks official.
However, these branch addresses are considered a lie by Fxamo, which the scammer uses to preserve the legend that it has international status. So, the usual verification, for example, of UK addresses indicates: the FXamo broker does not have any branch in England.
What to do if the device is faulty?
In some cases, and if you have experience in plumbing, the problem can be solved on your own. In most situations it is necessary to contact the Criminal Code. Only an experienced specialist can resolve the issue of why the meter shows more.
Resolving the situation on your own
The consumer can independently try to solve the problem. But in all cases, he is required to notify the Criminal Code in advance. The consumer has the right to independently replace a water meter that incorrectly records resource consumption readings if it was the cause of the problem.
To do this you need:
Inform the management company at least 2 working days in advance. The work itself will have to be carried out only in the presence of a company representative. The requirements are recorded in paragraph 81(13) of the Government Resolution dated May 6, 2011, number 354.- Preliminarily determine the exact cause by checking both the meter itself and all the pipes, starting from the bathroom and ending with the kitchen.
- Turn off the water in the apartment.
- If the cause is a leak, then it is necessary to tighten the couplings or adjust the shut-off and control valve.
- If the reason lies in clogged pipes, then the inlet filter is cleaned. This procedure is recommended once every six months.
- If the cause is a broken water meter, it needs to be replaced. To do this, use a key to remove the device in two places (at the inlet and outlet). Gaskets must be changed. The new water meter is tightened with new nuts that come with it.
Only consumers who have sufficient knowledge of plumbing can clear clogged pipes. If during the procedure the water meter was replaced, then the management company must be notified of the violation of the integrity of the seal . Its representative will also have to seal the new device in the future.
It is prohibited to independently solve the problem of increased water consumption if it arose for reasons such as leaks in pipes and connections located outside the apartment, excess water pressure and improper circulation of the resource in the hot water system.
Important! In these cases, the problem should be resolved only by management companies.
Appeal to the Criminal Code
In such a situation, you should act according to the following algorithm:
- Notify the management company about the problem. Do this verbally over the phone or in person. You can write a statement.
- Receive a referred specialist. With him, draw up an inspection report for the water meter, as well as the entire communication system in the house.
- Sign an act of work aimed at eliminating the cause of increased water consumption.
If the flow meter was replaced during the procedure, the consumer will have to purchase a new device at his own expense. If the old water meter was under warranty, then the management company will have to purchase a new one at its own expense.
After installing a new device, the consumer must allow a management company employee to seal it. After the procedure, the consumer must be given a certificate of the action performed.
FXamo scammers
Another trick used by the scammer is to claim that they have several permits at once. Thus, FXamo claims that it is managed by the FSA, but does not provide the required documentation. In addition, the work of the office is “approved” by the British Regulation of Official Conduct in the Field of Economics (FCA), but there is no mention of Fxamo on the portal of the office itself.
For greater reliability, the Fxamo representative intended to deceive about the presence of a VFSC (Vanuatu Economic Services Commission) permit. This regulator is not considered reliable, but the broker does not even have its permission, which is also simply verified.
The Fxamo scam “compensates” for falsification of permits and addresses with colorful descriptions of its advantages. This technique is used by many scammers, and this project is no exception.
The advantages given by the office are considered ordinary “water”. Thus, the size of the spreads has not been established, and even if a leverage of 1:500 is actually provided, in the case of scammers this threatens even faster deprivation of funds at the slightest fluctuation in quotes, regulated by the intermediary himself.
Information about 12 years on the market and management of British law is a complete lie. In fact, the intermediary has no connection with the English authorities, which has been confirmed, and the usual domain age verification shows the following.
It should be pointed out: almost 4 years on the market is quite a long time for scammers, but they still don’t talk about 12 years. In addition, judging by the dates of the responses, the intermediary did not work at first, although the name was registered - almost all of the responses on the Internet were “fresh”.
How to get rid of errors in utility bills
Explanations on this matter were issued by MosOblEITsR, a settlement center for utility bills in the Moscow region.
Error 1: crossed out line from receipt
Debts may arise if the payer pays an amount less than that indicated in the payment document. The amount in the payment document includes accruals for the current month, as well as debts and overpayments for previous periods.
According to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 28, 2012 No. 253, if the amount received is less than the amount billed for payment, it is distributed in proportion to the amount of the service fee in the total amount of payments. By paying a smaller amount and arbitrarily deleting the service from the payment document, the subscriber believes that he is not paying for it. However, the payment system distributes money proportionally across all services.
The exception is the fee for voluntary insurance, in connection with which two amounts are indicated in the ENP: taking into account and excluding the insurance fee. By paying an arbitrary, less accrued amount on a receipt, the subscriber only creates a debt to all service providers.
Error 2: missed payment deadline for housing and communal services
It is important to comply with payment deadlines for housing and communal services. In order to receive a correct payment document for all payments made, the payment must be made before the 10th day of the month following the billing month. This procedure is established by the Housing Code of the Russian Federation.
Error 3: meter readings not sent on time
Another reason for possible inaccuracies in accruals is that meter readings were not sent on time or were incorrectly transmitted. The settlement system stops accepting readings several days before payment documents are generated. If readings are received later than the established deadlines, they will be taken into account only in the next billing period.
There are uniform deadlines for transmitting electricity meter readings - from the 15th to the 25th of each month. The deadline for transmitting readings from water meters in Khimki is from the 15th to the 23rd.
Error 4: hot and cold water meter readings are mixed up
When transmitting water meter readings, it is important that the data on cold and hot water are not swapped. Only the whole number, up to the decimal point, must be reported. As a rule, this is a three-digit indicator for water meters and four-digit for electricity meters. Fractional values are not accepted for calculations. The value of the readings for the current month cannot be less than the values of the readings transmitted in the previous period.
In the absence of meters, the fee is calculated based on the tariff and standard.
How to recalculate for water with installed meters After the meter has been installed, it is necessary to invite authorized employees to put seals and make an appropriate decision on this matter. The technician makes a note about the installation of the hot water supply and passes the document to the citizen. With this document, the consumer must contact the management company and write a statement asking for the rent to be recalculated within a certain period of time. Employees of the management company cannot refuse to change the fee for a certain period. Otherwise, the citizen has the right to go to court and point out the fact of overpayment for utility bills.
Fxamo – scam or not?
It's better to start with resource analysis. The authors write that the organization was opened in 2008 and is considered one of the main brokers. However, if you try to find responses about Fxamo on the Internet, it turns out that they are missing. There is a very simple explanation for this situation: the resource started working only a few months ago and has low traffic. Namely, the scammers lied about their age and reputation.
It is also possible to analyze the permission of a given office. The type of intermediary is managed by the offshore country of Vanuatu, but the management itself is not listed on the web resource, which is quite easy to check. It turns out that the resolution was done in Photoshop and it is meaningless.
Well, the last fact in favor of Fxamo being a scam is the well-known web portal template. This pattern is used by a rather prolific group of scammers who are looking for new Fxamo representatives every month to defraud honest citizens.
Wrong readings, wrong reason
This is an area we haven't touched on yet, but it is very useful, especially for finding and correcting something wrong.
People often make mistakes, especially when they are trying to find the source of something or to fix something.
Let's say you have a car and it doesn't start well. The mechanic checks it and tells you that the problem is with the fuel pump. Then you replace it. But the car continues to have trouble starting because the real problem was with the carburetor. This is the wrong reason.
Sometimes you don't know the real reason until something happens. For example, you feel bad, and you discover, or something indicates to you, that the source of the bad feeling is “X”. But then you feel even worse. This suggests that the readings given were incorrect. Then you should mentally go back and find that
it was wrong. Then it makes sense to try again. Perhaps this time you will find “Y” as the cause. If this is true, then it works, and afterward you really feel better.
When you achieve better perception and gain more experience in any area, you will be able to quickly detect the wrong cause without having to test it in practice. What is the essence of deception?

Another Fxamo deception scheme is trading with so-called managers. On a rigged platform, the user is shown an imitation of trading, and subsequently the user of the type wins a large amount. However, it will not be possible to withdraw this winnings without first paying “tax”, “connecting insurance”, and other fees invented by scammers. Paying for all this, of course, is pointless, since the scam functions only to accept finance, and the income on the account is simply outlined in the program.
In addition, Fxamo managers do not neglect to deceive citizens into obtaining loans and are themselves determined to finance users. The only difference here is that loans from intermediaries have no validity and are considered exactly the same fake as income on the site. But despite this, swindlers use threats of legal proceedings and debt collectors to force victims to pay a fictitious debt.
How Fxamo Scams: Scam Scheme Review
The essence of the deception is that representatives of the pseudo-intermediary ingratiate themselves with naive users and promise them big money from Fxamo. The charlatans' goal is to convince traders to open one of their trading accounts. Taking into account that trading uses its own platform, scammers can easily draw results to create the illusion of successful activity. Difficulties begin when a person tries to withdraw money. Then his profile is simply blocked.
In the responses, the company’s users describe that they were not allowed to withdraw their earnings under various pretexts. This is how the scammers manage to extract some more money. If the client does not have money to replenish his account, he is recommended to take out a loan. As a result, he ends up in a debt hole from which it is difficult to climb out. Judging by the responses, FXamo representatives will be able to threaten with bailiffs and legal proceedings, driving citizens to depression.
Trading conditions, account types, Fxamo personal account
The list of trading tools provided is quite large. However, it is necessary to take into account the lack of liquidity providers; all proposed contracts are CFDs (transactions for difference). Intermediary trading tools:
- Currency pairs;
- raw materials;
- cryptocurrencies;
- stock;
- jewelry.
To start operating, you must register and open one of the proposed types of deposits. There are only 3 of them among intermediaries.
The minimum deposit amount is $500. Every skilled trader will agree that this is excessive - many other brokers recommend starting with minimum deposits, which is preferable for beginners. Moreover, the broker does not offer to launch a demo account, which also does not add decisiveness.

Most often, management companies are responsible for delivering water to residents of apartment buildings, and heat supply organizations are responsible for the temperature and quality of water only up to the separation point (border) between the centralized system and the house system. Documents on the basis of which recalculation can be made If a housing utility consumer requests a recalculation of payments for water, hot or cold, supporting documents must be attached to the application. Such documents may include:

It, among other things, states that the utility service provider is obliged to: ... accept readings from consumers of individual, common (apartment), room metering devices, including in ways that allow for the possibility of remote transmission of information about metering readings (telephone, Internet and etc.) and use them when calculating the amount of payment for utility services for the billing period for which the readings were taken... The key here is the phrase for the billing period (i.e. month) for which the readings were taken. It (if desired) can also be understood in such a way that the utility service provider does not seem to be required to retroactively recalculate the payment for water calculated according to the standard.

They also completely copy the text of regulatory documentation regulating relations with users.
At its discretion, the office can ask to transfer additional money, and the trader must do this within the specified time frame. Otherwise, the organization has the right to close his trading manipulations.
The FXamo representative will be able to receive the trader’s personal data and creditworthiness information from third parties. In addition, the Company has the right, without prior notice, to present them to its employees, service providers, and other offices that are part of the Organization’s group.
If your water meter readings are incorrect
Rules No. 354 or an agreement containing provisions for the provision of utility services, terms starting from the billing period for which the consumer did not provide meter readings until the billing period (inclusive) for which the consumer provided the meter readings to the contractor, but not more than 6 billing periods consecutive payment for a utility service provided to a consumer in a residential or non-residential premises for the billing period is determined based on the calculated average monthly consumption of a utility resource by the consumer, determined according to the readings of an individual meter for a period of at least 6 months, and if the period of operation of the meter was less than 6 months, then for the actual period of operation of the meter, but not less than 3 months.
