The gas equipment maintenance system must ensure:
- safe operation,
- constant readiness of gas supply (supply) and service to subscribers, with the exception of interruptions:
- for carrying out repairs and maintenance work (in agreement with local authorities in accordance with the “Safety Rules in the Gas Sector” and “Rules of Technical Operation and Occupational Safety Requirements in the Gas Sector of the Russian Federation” and other regulatory documents);
- for the inter-heating period for gas heating systems;
- in connection with natural disasters and other force majeure circumstances.

Requirements for the technical condition and safe operation of gas equipment, smoke and ventilation ducts
, as well as the procedure for monitoring their compliance in accordance with the Civil Code of the Russian Federation are determined by:
- Laws of the Russian Federation “On the protection of consumer rights”, “On gas supply in the Russian Federation”,
- other legal acts and mandatory rules adopted in accordance with them,
- including SNiP,
- “Safety rules in the gas industry”,
- “Rules of technical operation and labor safety requirements in the gas industry of the Russian Federation.”
Maintenance procedure
gas equipment should be set out in production instructions developed in relation to local conditions.
Gas equipment repair
carried out by specialized organizations at the request of owners and subscribers, transmitted by telephone or by written application. The application shall indicate the surname, first name, patronymic of the applicant, his address, and the nature of the malfunction.
Based on these applications, the organization providing services issues tasks to its employees to perform work, the completion of which is confirmed by the signature of the applicant in the “Repair Application”.
The owner, subscriber - service consumers are required to have an agreement
for the supply of gas and the provision of maintenance services for gas equipment, smoke and ventilation ducts.
Liability for poor quality maintenance
gas equipment, as well as poor-quality repairs within the established time frame at the request of the owners of apartments, residential and public buildings, is the responsibility of the service provider.
Owners, subscribers
- bear responsibility in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation if they are guilty of:
- in unauthorized gasification of an apartment, building,
- in unauthorized (in violation of the requirements of current regulatory documents) re-equipment and redevelopment of premises where gas equipment is installed,
- in violation of the rules of its operation,
- as well as in violation of the “Rules for the use of gas at home.”
This Procedure was developed on the basis of Federal Law dated March 31, 1999 N 69-FZ “On Gas Supply in the Russian Federation”
(Collection of Legislation of the Russian Federation, 04/05/99, No. 14, Art. 1667).
